The Great Sky Island, Kal, was the first sky island that Faians explored, and has since flourished into Faia’s main trading hub. Goods from all across the Realm converge in Kal’s enormous cities, and are promptly exchanged in vibrant, bustling markets. Yet, despite this commercial dynamism, the island’s natural beauty remains untouched. Its periwinkle soil, soft pink foliage, vast flower fields, and swirling violet mists create a distinctly dreamlike appearance. On the other hand, the Northwest of Kal offers a dramatic shift in atmosphere. The air becomes thick with a dense, white fog, and the ground transforms into a snow-like texture. This sub-biome, known as the Whitelands, is a health-haven for Tortuvinas due to mysterious properties in the fog.
