Spell Help!

Aelia scrambled as she heard the news of the wither at Raydes. The first approach was a massive fail. Fear has started to scatter in many Faians towns and homes, wondering if it’ll spread and cost more precious land. But no matter what, the Faians must stay strong and continue to fight, especially with the next step. A request of all faian-power with magic affinity to cast a spell. All the help they can get, no matter how big or small. Just don’t screw up….

She was quite concerned on her own part. As she has just discovered her ability of Arcane magic, Aelia must figure out how much she can help without burning out and faltering the spell. Her little knowledge of magic causes her worry. Affinity basics is no sweat. With a couple classes at the Mage academy, anyone can do the basics. However, even with her extra studies of extra books that go on about more techniques and ‘Magic Affinity: for dummies’, Aelia wonders if her tiny amount of affinity as a rank I mage will even make the difference of help for the giant spell that Alastor summoned all to contribute to.

The wooden platform reaches her waxy paws. She stops a few steps in and looks up, gawking at the sight. So many true mages surround the spell. All the mages prepared and already casting, it was beautiful. Alastor, leading it all, stands firm. The majority of the spell swirls and stems from his cast. Aelia apprehensively walked to an open spot between a couple of Faians.

She stumbled upon reaching the free spot, and quickly apologized for the possible distraction toward anyone who was listening nearby. The last thing she needs is to stop people from casting and cause us to fail at this fight. Looking to her left, a proud standing Lumendra seemed to be into its own world as they were focused on their magic input. On Aelia’s right, a fellow Candle Noodle, seemed to be doing pretty good as well.

Aelia steadied her breath. She didn't notice her accelerated, short breathing as she came here. The anxiety of messing up is getting to her mind and she cannot afford to get carried away with rapid thoughts at this moment. She shook her head. She was already here, and can't back out now. Alastor would never look her way again if Aelia ran off in fear. There was only one option on her end, and two goals. Help his spell, and don't mess up.

Aelia shifted her paws and slightly gripped the wood below her. Closing her eyes, she brought down her head and focused on bringing forth her energy. Aelia felt magic flowing through her as she slitted her eyes. Blue-toned wisps swirled around her like ribbon. Good, she's summoning her magic correctly. She throws her head up towards the big spell and thrusts her energy towards it. The wisps fly forward as she slowly spawns more. It's only a little bit of magic, but hopefully it'll make the difference.
