Comet shards have various properties that are useful for crafting, channeling, and alchemy… and there is nothing stopping Faians from picking them up off the ground. Some shatter easily upon impact, while others require a few hits to crack and gather. A reliable hammer and basket are essentials for any Faian who plans to shard-hunt.
